An outstanding complete example of a 3.5" telescope signed Dallmeyer late Ross, contained in 3 original packing cases. The lacquer and condition of this instrument are almost perfect. J H Dallmeyer married one of Ross's daughters and took over the business on his death. He made some of the finest lenses and instruments in his day and supplied the Royal Observatory with apperatus.
