A fine 2 day marine chronometer by Litherland and Davis, Liverpool in a fine brass bound three tier mahogany case. All housed in the original deck box. The silvered 3.5" dial has gold hands and split seconds.
Numbered throughout including the dial, bezel, bowl, and even on a paper label inside the lid of the deck box.
This chronometer came from a titled family from near Glasgow who in the 19th century had sailors in the family
