A wonderful example of 19th century marine timekeeping, by the leading maker Frodsham in partnership with Keen 
Housed in a super burr walnut three tier case fully brass mounted with original lacquer
The dial numbered is 2733 which is also found on the movement and the bottom of the bowl.
 Eight day marine chronometers such as this example where made for private yatchs.
The books show the dates of this working partnership to be 1856 to 1878
