A superb dated german steel mounted cabinet, the two doors with original locks and keys open to reveal finely engraved drawers and the doors have four figures . The skilled engraver of this strong box has dated it 1665 and left his makers mark on the right hand door, this is the quality of workmanship you would fine on royal hunting weapons of the same period.
