A fine example of an early 17th century Spanish walnut, iron mounted Vargueno. the fall front opens to reveal a superb interior with bone inlays and carved columns all with parcel gilt decoration. Standing on a well carved walnut stand.
The stand is designed to pack down, these cabinets were made for the traveling aristocrats
