A superb example of this type of 17th century cabinet with alegorical scenes to the drawer fronts and inside the lid, and with pastoral scenes on the doors, alL painted in the manner of Jaspervan der Lanen.
The central door opens to reveal a mirored theatre with chequered foor. The ebony cabinet and drawers all decorated with ripple mouldings.
