A fine and small example of a 2 1/2 inch Gregorian reflecting telescope signed George Adams instrument maker to George III . The 14" barrel with side focusing rod , stands on a tripod base, with the original lacquer through out.
An almost identical telecope by Martin is illustrated in Scientific Instruments by Harriet Wynter and Anthony Turner fig 240.
